The broad spectrum of sounds created by Tzolk’in on “Tonatiuh” will appeal to followers of industrial, ambient and even some psytrance; it’s a wonderful illustration of tribal sensibilities, executed in a contemporary, cutting-edge electronic medium. Powerful, stirring stuff, indeed.

Lingouf: an interview with Vincent Ingouf
Born and living in Lower Normandy, Vincent Gouf started walking down the artistic path from an very young age. Passionate about comics, he slowly turned his aspirations to painting and later to animation and music under the name of ‘Lingouf’, and has released several albums to critical acclaim – most recently through the German cult experimental music label Ant-Zen.
Mono-Amine – Do Not Bend
Mono-Amine’s latest offering, “Do Not Bend”, is an endless barrage of complex rhythms twisted madly by distortion and triggered with breakneck speeds. Overall, this album is incredible but not an everyday listen. Recommended for serious fans of distortion and all things fast and aggressive.
